After a festive season of eating, drinking and merry-making, it can be hard for your taste buds to adjust to your regular sugar-free, veggie-filled diet.

0.5 can full-fat coconut milk

0.75 cup raw cacao powder

0.3 cup coconut oil

2 tablespoons raw honey

Dash of sea salt


Mix all ingredients in a blender and pour onto a baking sheet. Put in the freezer for 1.5 to 2 hours until hardened. (Note: this chocolate does soften at room temperature, so it’s advised to eat it as soon as you take it out of the freezer.)

The sweet secret to this treat’s success is raw cacao powder, which comes directly from the cacao bean, making it the purest form of chocolate you can consume. It’s also rich in antioxidants, magnesium, and feel-good chemicals like serotonin and dopamine.
